Perimenopause & Menopause Online Course

I have been working on a new project for the past few months, it is an online course for women who are approaching or have reached Menopause. It took me longer than expected to create and get it right, but finally it is ready and I am so happy to be able to tell you about it. The course is a 4 week online programme for perimenopausal women and is called Healthy Hormones Kitchen – Perimenopause.

For the past 15 years I have been working with women as a Nutritional Therapist and Reflexologist and I have used my experience and knowledge when creating the online couse to provide all the essential information about diet/lifestyle/relaxation that every woman who is approaching menopause needs.

What is Perimenopause?

Perimenopause is the time leading up to menopause when the ovarian functions start to decline and hormone levels change. It can last for a few months or up to a few years and it’s different for every women.

According to Menopause Support, approximately 13 million women in the UK are either peri or post menopausal. Also symptoms can last up to 15 years and up to 60% of women experience symptoms that affect their behaviour, a third of women say they suffer with anxiety.

Whats Included in the Course?

This 4 week course is designed to help you to understand why you may be experiencing certain symptoms and what to do to help to reduce or minimise them. It focuses on dietary and lifestyle changes to help you to sail smoothly through the time of the change.

I created the course for women like myself who start to experience some of the unpleasant symptoms of perimenopause and would like to learn what to do to live their life to the full.

The course consists of 4 modules each one is focused on different aspects of nutrition and lifestyle that may have an effect on the way you are feeling.

The 4 modules are:

  3. Stress and Sleep
  4. Cleanse and Detox

The course is packed with tips about foods to eat and why they are beneficial during menopause/perimenopause and also what to avoid or reduce to eliminate symptoms.

Stress and Sleep

Stress management and sleep are really important during this time and the course provides advice on how to manage your stress levels, get more time during the day and have a good night sleep. Also the importance of living in a clean environment and using toxin free products is discussed, examples and alternatives are given.
